The Westin Domain hotel had never seen a wedding like this before! Literally. Yasisca and Kamal’s reception was the very first wedding reception to be hosted at the Westin Domain hotel. Needless to say, Cho Photography is very excited to be the first photographers to capture a wedding reception at the Westin Domain. Moreover, we felt honored to photograph THIS particular wedding and reception. Their fusion Catholic/Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony was held at St. Austin’s Catholic Church on Guadalupe. When I was in college at UT Austin, I passed this church all the time. Though it wasn’t until this wedding many years later that I ever saw how beautiful it is on the inside. Many, many thanks to Kathie Millen at Elite Events and Weddings for recommending us to Yasisca and Kamal. Kathie and her crew organized this wedding from the ground up to help make it really special. When I look at the photos of Yasisca and Kamal, I remember what a wonderful couple they are and what a gorgeous, dynamic wedding day they had. It was a day full of fun, family and firsts. Sae and I wish Yasisca and Kamal a lifetime of all that and more.
Yes, these photos were taken back to back at two different locations far away from each other, one taken by Sae Cho and one taken by me. Gotta love modern technology
Beverages were needed for the bride and her maid of honor so the kind and accommodating limo driver (Joe at Black Car) made a pit stop at the Twin Liquors on the way to the ceremony.
Michelle’s Patisseries provided these fabulous cakes. Kamal is a DJ so, of course, the grooms cake was a record player.
Brenda Abbott provided the beautiful floral arrangements.
